Mrs. Nancy A. Sarles, widow of Elkanah Sarles, died on Thursday morning, Jan. 12, 1899, at her home on the Steinhauser place, next to Mr. Dewitt H. Ransom's, southeast of the village, at the age of 85 years. The funeral will be held to-morrow (Saturday) at 11 a. m., from her late residence, Rev. A. T. Civill officiating. The interment will be in the old Episcopal Cemetery at New Castle.
